Good quality and functionality

I've looked at a lot of Revain stands that range from $25 to $150 and chose this one because I thought it had what I needed. I wanted to increase my new 55" LG TV by 5-7". The stand is a good quality powder coated construction. I found it easy to assemble and includes a few screws and spacers which presumably allow for installation. Various TV VESA connections. The size I needed was there. I bought a larger TV (39-65 inches) as I wanted to make sure I could mount it high enough. First I mounted the brackets at the lowest point of the TV. which allowed me to turn the TV up to the highest setting. After installing it I found it was too high so I had to move the brackets up so it could go lower. The higher you mount the brackets, the lower the TV will be. The only problem I had was with the consistency. Everything was perfect at first but when I changed the brackets they ended up 1/2 inch below level so I loosened the bolts to see if there was play and got it. a little closer. Then I moved the TV a little to one side and it "balanced" better. I tightened everything and now everything is smooth. As it rotates, the pivot allows for some wobble, and unless the TV is perfectly balanced right-to-left it will lean to the heavy side. I haven't tried tightening the pivot bolt, but I think I will tonight. Two offers for the supplier. Add some sort of leveling feature to the plate that the TV mounts slide onto. This will remove some objections to alignment. Second, I think a gloss finish would look better on a pole than a matte one. YMMV but I would have preferred a shinier look to the visible. If you find it difficult to assemble, don't buy anything that needs to be assembled. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were good. I haven't had any issues with that forward tilt either like some do, and it seems to hold my 50+ pound TV with no problem. If it is not level, adjust the RL alignment and tighten the pivot screw before beginning the adjustment. Get the pivoting version too, it costs extra money. It gets 5 stars if it has a leveling function and a glossy finish. I was tempted to give three stars as I usually give these reviews more weight than reviews that everything is perfect, but I didn't want to fool the seller. I would buy this again.
