I think it will help. I didn't bother sticking it on the screen of my 14 inch laptop. I just place it in front of the screen so I can easily remove it when I want to close the laptop. I ordered a size larger, which is for the 15 inch screen so it covers almost the entire screen when standing on the keyboard as there is about 1-1/2 inches of space between the bottom of the laptop. screen to keyboard. NO fight, no bubbles. Ideally I should have ordered a screen for a 17" laptop with a height of 8.5" to cover the entire screen. Sticks out on both sides. It would be easier to take it if I want to remove the screen or I can crop it a little. For now I'm happy with my purchase.
