Same cake box, same top and bottom disc guard, same media code, Optodic 002, both made by the same Optodisc. Even the same price. I bought Optical Quantum when I just started bdr. They even have the same problems with checking crc at the beginning of the disk. As far as I know, they are the same media. Optodisc 002 (see videohelp com for more info. Plex isn't very good but I keep buying from them. Back to Value Disc. Fewer write errors. Well, there are no write errors as such, but the LG recorder has trouble reading from Beginning So it writes well, reading is another thing Passes the CRC test, just takes longer to read That literally means 6x, and that's as fast as I can write Means: hard drive 6x, I can write to 10x with no problems (12x on other burners.)
