So I emailed the "CEO" (or whoever is authorized to send emails on their behalf) and he was keen to reassure me that I like these new glasses. The customer service and communication with these guys is exceptional! points for that! As for the glasses themselves, the frames are decent. They don't look cheap, but they don't look expensive either. The hinges are nice and add a semi-premium touch to the frame. They sit very well on my head, they fit perfectly the first time I wore them and every time since. Can't complain about the frame, it looks good. I have problems with the lenses of these glasses. Cleaning with anything other than water and the provided cloth WILL VOID THE WARRANTY and will result in PERMANENT FOG. This will permanently ruin your glasses and it won't help you. What appears to be happening is that it removes some kind of thin 'protective layer' (which can't even protect against cleaning) and leaves the glasses in a yellow/cloudy state permanently. I was told this by the CEO in our email correspondence, so be blunt about it. I don't know if that's normal for the reading glasses market or glasses in general as I only use them for blue light protection (mine is 0.0) but it's enough to deduct two stars. . If I can't kiss my wife while I'm wearing them without worrying that cleaning up the stains afterwards will ruin them forever, then they just aren't good enough for me. I blame the quality of the lens before I blame my wife for wanting kisses. Be warned about this.
