Review on OLOy Warhawk 288 Pin Desktop MD4U0836180BE0DA by Bryan Gibbons

Works perfectly! Looks good!

First of all, this is an overview of Oloy Blade RGB 16gb MD4U1636181BRWDE modules. The vision system combines them with Warhawk sticks. I have them in ASUS Z390 MB with i9-9900k. I chose the default XMP profile and it worked flawlessly. Obviously I don't even use them at the highest level, so I can't comment on that or AMD system compatibility. I am 100% satisfied with the performance and stability of these modules as RAM. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is RGB. I bought these over other sticks primarily because I liked the RGB design better. I like the narrow range of RGB. Arranging them in a group of four LEDs results in a distinct row of four LEDs instead of one large rectangular array of LEDs. The problem is that I can't get the top LED to light up properly. The only two colors I can get are blue and green or a combination of the two. There doesn't seem to be a red LED in the top position as I can't get red at all BUT I can get magenta which is red and blue so it's confusing. It could be a faulty LED or an ASUS Aura timing issue. Since this is advertised as AURA compatible, this is definitely an issue. In fact, this is more of an annoyance than a problem, but buyers should still be aware of it. If I want a consistent color scheme or pattern, I need to turn off the top RAM LED. Other than that they are great and I still love the look of them.
