As a daily drinker of green tea and matcha, this style of hot pot is invaluable to me. Always ready to dispense water at the ideal temperature. I couldn't live without them and the Zojirushi range of boilers is one of the best out there. Made in Japan and very high quality. The interior is coated, but I'm told the coating is waterproof and doesn't leach chemicals into the water. The dispenser is a one-touch electronic pump, not a "hand pump". Super easy and convenient. I highly recommend buying a box of their cleaning tablets from him. If you have hard water, you're going to need them. I live off well water, which is quite rich in minerals, so I clean my hot pots about once a month. I use mine several times a day and it's during all waking hours. It only consumes about 40W when heating water and is therefore very economical. It has a nice shutdown timer so you can turn it off while you sleep and turn it back on and heat it up fully when you wake up. I think this brand offers the best quality and value for money. The last one I owned lasted over ten years before the innards finally failed. I used it many times a day before finally needing to be replaced. Highly recommended!
