Bright Blue Light is a Terrible Design Choice

It's no secret that you should stop looking at blue light devices a few hours before bed, as it disrupts your brain's production of a key sleep hormone called melatonin. Why on earth would Anker add blue light here when you'll most likely be using it in the bedroom to charge your devices? It may seem small and insignificant, but at night it somehow lights up half the room. Not to mention that unlike other non-illuminated models, the power strip is 100% powered. That annoying design flaw aside, the cable and USB/jacks feel solid and well made. I hope, attaching a thick ribbon over the lantern to reduce night attack. (It's worth noting that there's no way to turn off the light, and it also leaks out of the USB ports.) I have other Anker products that are among the best purchases I've ever made, but alas, it is not the case for any of them. Very disappointed in Anker. If I had known that this extension cord glowed brightly, I would never have bought it.
