CB radio for my boat

I got this for my Motorboat for use on my local lake. I'm no expert and they say it's a HAM radio, but it doesn't have the SSB marine radio that many ships use and I think it's more of a CB (Citizens' band) radio. I like that it comes with a decent microphone. I have a waterproof antenna attached to it and I receive all possible channels on the water. It runs directly off my 12V DC supply. I can scan and listen to distress and weather channels and communicate with other boats. I can also connect an AM/FM radio. On the back there is a connection for an external speaker. It's pretty easy to set up and get started. There are many advanced features and controls that you can add as you become more familiar with the device. It is also ideal for RVs, trucks or SUVs. highlighted.

Pros
  • -5kHz function/offset function/key lock function/CTCSS code/DCS (optional)/built-in 12/24V converter (optional)
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
