If after more than a month using the Audicity program someone only gets music files from old vinyl records, using the small CD that comes with the player is the best choice, the program loads faster and works Really good job, I uninstalled the latest version I downloaded. I would like to add a point I posted before the small Audicity software CD the old trial software and the latest ver. 2.X was on the Audacity website and if you are using Microsoft Windows 10 you should download it instead of using the small disc that came with it. Now I want to explain if you have an old computer with Microsoft Windows 7 New Ver. Audicity doesn't fit, but Test Ver. found on a small disc, i have it on my old Toshiba NB 255 with an Intel Atom processor and very little memory, it still works with music i took from my old vinyl discs and converted to digital files. I just didn't want anyone to think they can't use a small disc if they have a Microsoft Windows 7 computer. Audacity software to transfer your music from your recordings to digital files that you can play on your computer and use headphones. The software is on a small DVD, so install it on your computer. The printed manual isn't the best, but there's a really good online manual you can check out and they have a helpful forum too. Remember that for every music file you create, there are two types of files, a data file and a digital music file, that can be stored on a memory card and transferred to other devices.
