I bought 8 and they seem narrow to me even though I have a medium foot width. Just like now, when my feet are swollen from walking all day, they can get pretty uncomfortable. I hope that when I break them they will stretch a little and become more comfortable. ---------- UPDATED ------------- Changed from 4 to 5 points because these sandals are awesome! I just took them to the beach and wore them non-stop for 5 days. Up and down the beach, to and from airports - they're so convenient! The straps broke after about a day of wearing and now they fit perfectly! I have high arches and they don't dig into my arches and the insole is very supportive. My favorites now!
