This is a really great serum and I think it would probably work for fine OR thick hair, but if you have a lot of unruly or split ends it might not work as well as you would like. This stuff changed my hair style. I have overly bleached hair. But this material is so good for my hair that it has made me feel soft, healthy and smooth again. My routine is wash, condition for a while or use a protein cleanser, let dry until damp, then apply 2-3 pumps to my hair (I have long thick hair) and apply to the bleached areas on. Bought this product to help with frizzy hair. My hair is mostly very thick and wavy, sometimes curly, TYPE 2B. When wet my hair gets fuller and loses frizz/curl. To be honest I have only used this product once (today). This works better than most products I've tried for frizz and I've tried MANY.
