I've been using similar products for over 40 years and this is by far the BEST! It went in without feeling hot, didn't burn the edges (so watch out), washed out completely and my hair didn't get tangled! Best straightener I've ever used. Has the usual chemical smell after you're done, but should be less noticeable after the second or third wash. I've tried relaxants that leave a film or make my hair frizzy afterwards and have hurt me more than what I started with. I don't like lye-based relaxants because I use them slowly and find it difficult to keep track of time. I don't have to worry about my hair falling out if I don't stop using it after 5 minutes. Due to COVID-19 all my barber shops are closed. I had to pay more for this hair style than usual in the store but it came quickly and was the same product, always awesome. Yesterday I used it on my hair and my relaxer came out fine as always.

Works great. I let my hair grow, but I still rest for maintenance. It was soft enough for what I needed. I used super strength for many years now I know it wasn't necessary. Just follow the instructions and protect your skin during the process. So I did the braids again and was going to let them grow out for another 6 months to get more length. This was the first relaxer I've had in over a year and it didn't break down at the transition point like I feared. Very satisfied.
