Pleasantly surprised!

Used it for the first time two days ago. It really lived up to the hype! I was positively surprised. I have very curly curly hair. When it rains and it's humid, my hair flaps like a clown! But even though it's only been two days, those two days have been hot, humid and rainy and my hair hasn't exploded or frizzed. So far very satisfied. Let's see how it will be after the first. I hope this is the last part.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • I don't really dislike it, everything is fine

Perfect for texlax/texturing my fine 3C hair!

I've been a natural for about 10 years, but lately I've had a lot of entanglements so I started learning Texax. This product was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have fine, non-relaxed hair, 3C, and applied this relaxer in two steps to ensure as much consistency as possible in a loose curl pattern. I parted the hair at the crown and first relaxed the bottom half of the hair, washed with shampoo and conditioner, and then relaxed the top half of the hair, washed with shampoo and deep…

Pros
  • Many are enough
Cons
  • Some difficulties

It always does the job!

I have used this product for many years. This has always led to excellent results. I switched to something else to try. This product was just ok. Saw my old favorite at Revain, ordered straight away and I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed! Same great product, no burning, no itching, much thicker than many others, impressive results. The gentle cleanser relaxes just enough to keep my curls looking amazing after air drying! I try nothing else. I'm staying with Revlon.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Ratio set

Great relaxant for swimmers

I'm a swimmer and chlorine is bad for my hair. This is the first relaxer that has left my hair silky smooth and soft. With other relaxers, my hair felt stiff and didn't straighten out after relaxing. I bought the soft formula. I love this relaxer. I haven't used Revlon in years. Since I started swimming I have tried different brands of relaxation products. Revlon is the first product that has made my hair as silky as it was before swimming. With some of the other relaxers my hair felt stiff…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Sad walk

Definitely soft: hair care

I bought these because I was concerned that the regular one was too strong for my hair. However, it was weak. It took longer than usual to see results but it worked for me. Doesn't burn the scalp which is a big plus. I have enough left to use again. In general everything is fine. Maybe next time I'll try the normal one.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Healthy hair at last

I just used this relaxer last week. I haven't let my hair down for about 4 years and it was over my shoulders. I am biracial with very dry curly wavy hair. I relax my hair every 4 months or so but wanted it to be natural. I really liked my curls and waves, but my hair shrank so much in one day that I had to use a lot of styling products to keep it looking its best. I started looking for a relaxant and knew I needed an alkaline base because others dried my hair after a few months. I even used…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
