I'm tired of using safety pins to attach price tags to clothing. This marking gun was just what I needed. It was fairly easy to insert a needle and plastic tags. It took practice to attach the plastic tag to the paper and fabric of the clothing. I think I didn't pull the trigger hard enough initially. I think it was my own user error getting used to it. If you are shipping or doing yard sales, this saves time. I think it will be cheaper in the long run than buying the safety pin I used.
