I received this case for my refurbished Ipad. I found the hard plastic case that snaps around the pad to be easy enough to install if you have the strength in your fingers to fold up the hard case, and then it was a bit difficult to put the rubber over the hard case back. There are small protrusions that need to be tucked under the edge of the hard plastic case. There's no harm in getting those tiny lip lines out of the way, it's more of an aesthetic thing. When using this case I found the key downside is that the kickstand on the back forces you into landscape mode and flipping the tablet to portrait mode makes the stand almost unusable as it tends to tip onto the back of the stand. Another downside is that the top and bottom rubber lips tend to pop out very easily and it's just a hassle to put them back into the groove of the hard case they're meant to sit in. The hard case doesn't interfere with camera, light, or touch functionality, although I'd recommend installing the fingerprint after you've placed it on the case, as there are angle issues when registering fingerprints. Dust, and with the current heavy use (end of August 2021), the rubber lugs are still strong and flexible after several months of use, flexing easily and not showing any signs of wear anytime soon. The hard case is easy to attach. my screen protector and does not affect any of the tablet's functions as it leaves edge-to-edge contact areas on the surface. If you use a lot of horizontal apps, this case is for you. If you enjoy watching TikTok apps or any other forced apps, I would look elsewhere.
