Review on Timpano TPT-ST4 Chrome 3.5 Inch Super Tweeter - Pro Car Sound System Bullet Tweeters (Pair) by Joseph Campos

I installed them in my A-pillars in a special fiberglass assembly. When I first installed them they sounded great and I was happy, but suddenly they sounded like they were turned off. I was very disappointed and thought I blew them up. I started taking them out and putting them back in the DS18 PRO-TW120B they had replaced when I heard them making a noise at low volume. It turns out that my amp randomly reduced the gain. I adjusted the gain and it sounded normal again. They sound a little richer than the DS18, like they have more range. I think this is due to the lower seating of the bullet in the center of the driver. Very crisp and clear, even at high volume. You get very little dynamic compression at certain frequencies at high volumes, but you might never be able to push them as hard as I do to hear or even notice when you do, given the power you get from them . I would recommend them. Note, however, that these are large form factors and won't fit in a standard-sized "tweeter" hole.
