Just received this 7th grade student backpack. The size is ok, I would like more. Hoping it would delay the school year and keep her textbooks along with her Chromebook. She has had kipling in the past and in my opinion these are the best of the best in terms of their extra large sizes, durability, extra compartments, strength, water resistance etc. We couldn't find a kipling in a color that she liked. She chose this backpack for its aesthetic clean lines and the light gray and white color scheme she was looking for. Has 1 main compartment. It has a soft case that fits your 15 inch Chromebook. The main compartment also has a zippered mesh pocket. There is a smaller compartment at the bottom of the bag for storing small school supplies. On the top of the bag there is a tiny compartment for a mobile phone, airport, etc. All compartments close with a zipper. Rose gold colored zippers. Backpack light grey. There are compartments for a water bottle on the sides of the backpack. Each has 3 white stripes. The bag measures 19.75 H x 9.5 W x 12 D. The back of the bag is dark grey. The straps are light grey. The bottom of the bag is also light gray. I wish it was dark gray so you can't see the dirt when it's on the floor. Very happy with this backpack. Love its color and clean lines, just wish it was bigger and could hold more stuff.
