I bought these after trying the 1 and 3 compartment bins. Singles are best because there's less chance of breaking the middle, but they're not as good at keeping things separate. I've already covered 3 bays with a few upgrades so I won't repeat myself here and say why you shouldn't buy them. With 2-compartment containers, I can store fruit separately from the main course. The lid fits snugly and I haven't noticed any leaks so far. They're just the right size and hold plenty of food, especially with domed lids. I also love how beautifully they match. I've only been using them off and on for about three weeks (I'm a terrible cook) and so far they're great and I would recommend them. If this changes I will edit/update it.
