You get what you paid for.
I brought them for Christmas for the first time last year, figured I would do the right thing by keeping them in their own container, not folded, wrapped in a cardboard box that I cut to size. no I took them off to hang on the tree and literally only half the lights worked. I was so disappointed. Now my daughter who has the same lights in her room she hung and hers will go on and off for about half a year before she needs more which is why I've given it 3 starts anyway but as I said I think I get what you pay for, a bit cheap for some of the options I've seen, but I just figured better care might extend life. no
