Review on Ohaus 1650 00 Triple Beam Balance Stainless by Doug Hook

Received this item today (12/24/2014). I correctly noticed that the package was treated carelessly. It was sagging and completely bent. As I dug into the box, the sides parted and there was no life left in them. The only packaging was thin pieces of folded cardboard on either side of the scale (if you can call it packaging). When you finally took the device out of the box, you could hear a rattling plastic inside. He also had a crumpled plate (where you put things to weigh). In an attempt to get to the root of this problem I tried unscrewing the plate from the scale and found this rattling noise. The screw had snapped off and I couldn't loosen it. This means that this scale is not new and is the product of faulty labor. When weighing, the scale will be off by about 10 grams or more and cannot be reset to zero, making it nearly useless.
