I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
The buckle is too large to fit through the belt loops of most pants, which is both a drawback and a benefit. The drawback, though, is readily remedied: I simply removed the belt's adjustable end from the buckle, slipped the belt through, and then fastened the buckle. When the pants are hung up in the closet, the belt won't fall out of the loop, and if you attach something heavy to the belt, it won't budge either.
- The belt's material will last, and its seams will remain secure. The tip of the belt has melted and smoothed off. The buckle may be securely fastened and undone with minimal effort. The belt has a buckle that allows you to modify the size.
