I am really impressed with this dashcam! I love how easy it is to attach to an existing mirror. The only minor downside to mounting over an existing mirror with rubber mounts is that the mirror wobbles very little, but that's not a big deal. With the screen off, the mirror reflects a little less than the full original mirror, but that's still perfectly acceptable. It's actually nice to have a larger mirror than the original mirror in my car. Wiring was fairly easy, just routing the wires around the windshield, door frames, etc. All I had to do was drill a small hole to route the cable from the rear camera. in the back of my car and the camera mount is well designed and solid. I also like the fact that the camera can be moved about an inch to the left on the mirror to ensure it can be moved away from the mirror mount for a nice unobstructed view. I particularly like the voice control, which makes it very easy to arm or disarm the screen and choose whether you want a front view, rear view, or both. This works absolutely reliably every time I say exactly the right sentence. (Sometimes it's hard to remember phrases, so I carry a cheat sheet in the car). You can also say "block video" and it will save the most recent video clip so it can't be deleted. That is the main reason why I bought this device to be able to document an accident or very bad driving. I contacted my local sheriff to see if they would welcome any videos I make of people misbehaving or driving dangerously and they said they would be willing to look and appreciate the offer. Both cameras have a very wide field of view. brilliant, crisp and showed many details.
