
For as long as I can remember I have had comments from people telling me to sit up straight and stop looking down. I've always been slouched, and that might be due to an injury I picked up in high school (I was a weightlifter). I've been in pain since earlier this year, especially since I started working from home. I mostly sit at the computer and my wife has noticed that my hump has gotten worse. I bought this posture corrector about 4-5 months ago and started wearing it at least 5-6 days a week and so far I have noticed a definite improvement. The hunchbacked look is slowly but surely disappearing. I've even noticed that my back pain has lessened. I believe if I continue like this I will probably be able to return to near perfect posture, although it may take some time. By the way, if you have one of these (or are planning to buy one), make sure you also combine them with the exercises that are included in the brochure. Similar exercises were recommended to me by my doctor. I would also recommend using a posture corrector in 30-60 minute increments as directed in the instructions.
