Review on 🌂 Functional Adult Hooded Rain Poncho Jacket with Pockets - Stay Dry in Style! by Chris Long

I bought this poncho for a trip to Disneyland where ponchos are notoriously expensive and Florida weather is unpredictable. I chose this poncho because of the good reviews here. From the pictures online it looked well built. When I received it it was thinner than expected and had a small carabiner pocket to attach the poncho tote bag to anything and looked great for travel. I unrolled it, checked the zippers and the weight of the poncho, and then thought nothing of it until we went on vacation. The poncho failed within 1 minute of a sudden November rain. It closes comfortably and is big and roomy, but the material just isn't waterproof. It's slightly water-repellent, which means that in light rain you might not realize you're wet when you run 1.50m. Unfortunately we were in the park and couldn't hide. All my clothes were soaked. I had to buy a poncho and sweatshirt from the gift shop. At best, they are waterproof under certain load parameters. However, it was not exposed to unusually heavy rain or many hours of testing. Maybe it depends on the batch depending on where they get their stuff from but for me it was a bad buy.
