Shoelaces: After 5-10 minutes, either one side or the other comes loose. That's extremely annoying. Even a double loop is useless. Only a proper knot will prevent the death of shoelaces from unraveling. This is extremely annoying. With accelerated runs that was the only salvation. Sensible laces were used on the previous models. Now obviously a flat cheap variant has been threaded. Completely incomprehensible to me. This is my 8th pair of Nike running shoes. Since I need a heel support because I tend to have flat feet, my specialist retailer recommended the "Zoom" series to me years ago. I run at least 5-8 km every other day and use 4-5 pairs of shoes at the same time. It is a very light shoe that weighs just under 300 grams per shoe. I would describe the wearing comfort as optimal for my needs. I normally have the shoe size 42.5 but here I took the size EU 44. These fit like a glove. I had no problems at all with breaking in, the adjustment phase was quite short. As far as I can tell, I find the cushioning to be good. I run on different surfaces. The shoe does everything well. I couldn't find any impairments on asphalt either. Even in light rain it gets wet. You can't walk through puddles if you don't want to get your socks wet. It is also not recommended for the winter time. Overall, the workmanship makes a good impression on me (Made in China), as I am used to from Nike. Conclusion: With the existing laces, it is not a pleasure to use these shoes. I will have to move in again. I deduct 2 of the actual 4 stars for the shoe. Addendum 01/26/2019: The shoe can be used well with other shoelaces (from worn-out running shoes). Less so in the current bad weather, however, as it doesn't offer particularly good protection against splashing water, etc. More of a good-weather running shoe.
