The first time I used it I caught a goldfish and wanted to toss it in another container of water. So I flipped the net upside down over the second container and the fish was hanging from the net and holding on to a fin! Somehow the center seam of the net caught one of his fins and he just dangled. I put it back in the tank to see if it came loose, then picked it up again, flipped it over, same result. I had to grab the fish by the fin and pull it out of the net before it could free itself! I've used the net successfully on other fish and then used it twice more to get them both back to the goldfish tank so maybe it was an isolated incident but I don't want to risk it; I will buy another net.
