This product seems to work well as long as I make sure the bag is fully sealed before vacuum sealing and putting in the freezer. What bothers me is the battery compartment on the bottom of the vacuum sealer. At the slightest disturbance or provocation, the battery compartment opens immediately and all six batteries crawl out. The battery cover is poorly made (bad materials?) and just won't snap into place; At the slightest tremor, it opens immediately. I'm tired of returning poor quality products, I'll just put strong tape on it and hope it works for a while.
