Great value. Voltage readings are amazingly accurate, within 0.03V of a calibrated Fluke 87 III. I have not verified the current measurement accuracy. I would give it a one star rating for a number of reasons. The gauge is supplied without a connection cable and it would be ideal if this were not the case as it would be difficult to adapt to all installations. However, the instructions don't even specify what gauge wire the installer should use, nor do they specify the typical currents that should be run through those wires. must be protected by a battery fuse. I think it would be wise to suggest a fuse. Mounting options are very limited due to the narrow bezel and the flimsy little clips used to attach the device to the panel. If you want to install it on anything other than flimsy sheet metal, it's going to take a long time. I would like a larger flange around the unit and stronger clamps that could accommodate more panel thickness options. I ended up installing the device in a wall mounted plastic panel and then mounted the panel on the wood panel. It is nice that the backlight can be switched on and off. Even dim backlight can overwhelm the darkness in the motorhome at night. However, I would have preferred a raised button on the front of the unit rather than a recessed one that requires a tool to operate. The LCD is readable from below and from the side, but quickly disappears when viewed from above. A very good device for the money.
