In general, I thought the device was great, and my experiences with it have left me with nothing but favorable impressions. While it does have a few minor flaws, these do not prevent it from taking high-quality photographs. Has pros: - Both in terms of its outward look and its proportions. Although it is only a few millimeters in height, the lens is not completely flush with the body of the camera. There are many different body hues, and everyone will discover one that suits them. - The mode wheel makes it easy to switch modes, but there aren't that many modes to choose from. I think this is a positive, as only two or three modes in addition to video are used. - The "Fisheye" setting is a fun one to play about with because it warps the image and makes it convex, which can result in some fascinating images. The device turns on almost instantly and completely after one and a half seconds. You are able to capture pictures. - Optical stability, of which the IS index makes mention, is a virtue in and of itself! While the battery is in the working position, it is safely fixed in place by a stopper; therefore, there is no need for you to worry that it will fall out when the memory card is removed. It appears that an SD memory card is being utilized here. There is a vast selection of cards available nowadays, and all new laptops come equipped with a slot for SD cards, so there is no need for additional adapters or card readers. By the way, a card with 8 GB of storage space has been loaded with 1900 individual frames. Before that, there was a device made by SONY that used a memory card with the brand name Memory Stick. Not only did you require a card reader as air to use this device, but the Memory Stick cards were also significantly more expensive than SD cards. - Capable of having the screen's brightness adjusted, in addition to having a large display with favorable viewing angles. There is a device called an accelerometer that inverts images when they are viewed. By the way, when viewed on a personal computer, the images are already in the inverted position, which is very convenient. - Both still images and moving images of a high quality. There is no night mode, however the automatic setting still produces quite respectable results while shooting in the dark. - An inviting and uncluttered menu with no extraneous configuration options. - Quick performance across the board for the apparatus! Some cons: Because the microphone hole is situated on the upper edge of the device, you need to be careful not to block it with the index finger of your left hand when you are filming a video. The plastic that is around the button makes a creaking sound whenever the device is turned on. - The mode switch wheel is convenient, but the switches are a little tight (maybe it will grow through time), and the video mode is the final one; it is difficult to click to it because it is at the end of the list. Sorry, but the gadget cannot be charged using the USB connector; it is only possible to charge the battery by using the charger that was supplied in the package. Because the gadget is always trying to focus, even when it is not necessary to do so, the battery is discharged more quickly; yet, it is still capable of lasting for more than 350 photos. Concentration produces a very audible effect. It is not possible to pause the video while it is being recorded. - There is not an HDMI output.
