2018 Silverado 5.3 I took it out of the box, connected it to Wi-Fi, checked for updates, the device updated, plugged it into the truck, chose a tune, before downloading the tune, made a backup Copy of the default melody. I had problems here at first. When it tried to save my default melody, the device showed "Read error, ECU request for seed denied". Tried a few more times with no success. I emailed tech support after business hours, got an early response that the device requires "Unlock 17+" to activate in the device and they asked me to connect it to my computer or connect WiFi to update it again. After reconnecting to my laptop and WiFi, I tried downloading the ringtone and it worked fine. Loaded Tune 87, accelerated and switched off AFM. I'm happy with the results and haven't even tried higher power yet. Who knows what results this thing got, but the feel of the truck has improved and I'm glad I decided to give it a try. I really wanted the AFM to go away and figured I'd pay a little more and get more power and ride quality. It works out.
