Edit: I don't know what to think anymore. As an engineer, the mouse is my most important work tool. That's why I've always bought what I believe to be the best mouse on the market. But over the past 10 years, a pattern has developed in these mice. I have so many because after a few years they always and systematically go bad. I kept buying a new one because I gave them the leap of faith when in doubt and always switched to a new model when my old one broke. But this time my MX 2s broke after 8 months, less than a year. So now I have to ask myself should I keep buying Logitech mice? Why the hell do they always go bad? My last three mice had a broken scroll wheel that would no longer switch between two scroll modes, one no longer registering clicks and the other has a broken cursor that moves on its own across the screen. My latest MX 2S has a combination of the two issues mentioned where the cursor causes everything on the screen to scroll endlessly on its own. So now I have to buy a new mouse, but I only like Logitech mice. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on you, fool me four times, I must be stupid. I'm sorry but I have to change my rating from 5 to 1 star because I just can't rely on them anymore and I can't justify giving them my money even though I really think they have the best on are the market. Interesting, I'm the only person who has had this experience with MX mice. I've been using the MX Anywhere line of mice for at least 10 years and have 4 of them, the best mouse out there in my opinion. Works on any surface, great scroll wheel features and I love that the average lamb is different from the scroll wheel. Great mouse for drawing. Simply the best!
