I have tested many cables for use in a car with Android Auto and in my opinion these are the best. First, they just work, while magnetic cables often don't work with Android Auto. Second, the magnetic head (rotating) design means the cable is more forgiving if you bump your phone. When using cables with fixed ends, a slight bump on the phone will often cause the cable to come loose. This will then destroy Android Auto. With these cables, a slight bump will not cause the cable to come loose. In addition, the magnet seems to be relatively strong. Finally, there is a good range of lengths in this range. There are cheaper magnetic cables out there, but if you want to use a magnetic cable with Android Auto (or presumably Apple Car Play), these cables are a good choice. !
