I think it's ok, it's bigger and has more colors if you're into it, but when it comes to using the remote it's not very impressive . The remote control has 3 music buttons, 3 flashing color buttons and 3 (slow) speed buttons. They are all preinstalled. So if your music is faster than light, it sort of jumps through. There are 9 other buttons that also have preset colors, but it's just different sets of lights to choose from, which I think is fine. I expected them to be the same as other lights but they are definitely not as good as their competitors. If you're looking for lots of color but not great lighting, then this is for you! But good luck with the connection as it's attached to a 3ft cable.
