Expensive, but perfect for g9
Very solid. A big piece of metal and a huge spring. It's actually just a spring that supports the weight of the monitor. You wouldn't have to deal with this at all if the hinge was indexed instead of a plain joint. Considering this pretty much only applies to the Odyssey g9, I was surprised at how difficult it was to line up the screw holes and how short the screw threads were. It was also difficult to align the mount with the arm considering how heavy the monitor is, so a second person came in handy.
