Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ High-Quality SUNMORN Battery Terminal Connectors: Automotive Replacement & Multiple Sizes for Car and Marine Audio Applications by Dmitriy Kingsley

Serviceable if you know what to expect

Pros: The terminal housings are sturdy and have enough room to add faucets and there seems to be enough to juice more accessories. They're also fairly cheap for what they are. The bad: The gold cross-bolts that attach the posts to the battery posts appear to be made from melted Class 1 debris and have about the same tensile strength as parmesan cheese. The threads practically crumbled to dust. It doesn't matter much as these aren't expensive terminals and quality nuts and bolts won't cost more than a few dollars at your local hardware store. Grab the square heads while you're there. A minor note is that the set screws on the large holes protrude too far for the covers to fully engage even when screwed onto the 8ga cable. If you install 1500w bass subwoofers or CB amps and use 1/0+ cables, they won't close completely at all unless you shorten the set screws or drill holes in the plastic covers. It's okay, but again, you should balance expectations with the price. Ugly: I think they're really meant for truck/RV batteries or something like that. So if you use a smaller battery you have to conduct the negative part. It requires a bit of adjustment, but it's not too bad, and at least it comes with gaskets. I ended up cutting both of them with scissors and using 2 parts to get a tight fit. It doesn't matter much since that's what you do when you modify your car and put in "universal" parts. If you just want everything to dangle with no issues, stick with the OEM or pay someone else to do the job of fitting.
