Review on CCbeauty Natural Sandalwood Handmade Detangling by Tiffany Tucker

The joinery on this wooden product is excellent. The wood is dense and appears to have been sealed, possibly with acrylic (commonly used in turning to prevent warping of thin pieces of wood). Complaint 1: The tips of the teeth are too thick. By "thick" I mean a size that is invisible when you put this comb on the table. There is a length and height that is clearly visible and also shown in all product images here on Revain. There is a 3rd dimension, the distance from the table surface to the visible surface of the comb. This is something that is too thick at the tops of the teeth. In fact, they need to be reduced to about half the thickness they currently are. Sandpaper on a flat surface will fix this, but at this price point it should be fine. I measure mine 2.5mm closer to the "handle" and 1.5mm at the other end. It's WAY too thick. One wish: It would be even better if the teeth were made of bone instead of wood, which would reduce porosity and thus bacterial growth and contamination. But as a single comb for 1 user, it's ok. Summary: Looking good, but there is still work to be done.
