First class customer service!

I ordered the original adapter in mid-June but found it didn't work with my Mac mini or my 16" MacBookPro 16.1 (the latter with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4GB graphics card) (both purchased in early 2020 ) on my old Apple Cinema 30" (M9179LL/A - A1083, bought 5/2008) and 20" (1680 X 1050, bought 6/2006) displays. I emailed Club3D's RMA to get the adapter support, and received a response the next day diagnosing an issue with HDCP (Digital Copy Protection) not supported on Macs late 2019. Users reported that the adapter worked fine with earlier Mac models. The company offered free firmware to disable HDCP on the adapter, but I didn't have access to a Windows computer to change the firmware, so the company suggested I send a new HDCP-OFF adapter, and it worked e delivered by FedEx Express from the Netherlands. It works with 16" MacBook Pro and 20" Apple Cinema Display! The company now offers HDCP ON and HDCP OFF versions of the adapter. For movie screens, the HDCP OFF version of the adapter must be ordered. I really enjoyed RMA Club3D's excellent customer service. I will be ordering another HDCP OFF adapter for my other Mac and its 30" Apple Cinema display.
