These Christmas themed burlap bags come in a cute smaller size. They are good for small services or small items like jewelry or small toys. The bags are made of softer burlap and are not rough. However, they have the typical light brown burlap color. They measure 6" x 4". The burlap sack is gathered from above with natural jute twine. It's easy to pull the pieces of yarn in the opposite direction and tighten the top of the bag. The bag closes really tight. Of course, this could be tied in a knot for extra holding power. If it is not tied, the recipient can simply untie the top and the package will be easy to open. All packages have a small Christmas-themed application. The pair had slight bumps or creases on the appliqué itself. I think for one time use although they do fit. They certainly make packing small items quick and easy.
