Excellent - just right for shirts without epaulettes and heavy duty for pants

Finally - a great hanger that won't leave a mark on my or my husband's shoulders or knitted shirts. I have several types of "velvet" underwires - notched for tank tops and dresses, but I didn't like them on my fitted or knit shirts and polo shirts. I even removed the wooden hangers and replaced them with these for everyone BUT my leather jackets and heavy terry cloth robe are heavy. I don't think they're thick enough to wear, but I wasn't looking for that anyway. So I have a group with my wooden hangers for her and the rest of the closet for both of us, nice and tidy now with more space with it - everything fits too. As for the people who don't like them and complain about using them, you just have to get a feel for hanging your clothes on them - that's what I love about them - put your shirt on one Side and then to the other, wiggle a little and the shoulders fit snugly in the spot isn't tighter. I also wear shirts, the shoulders are slightly pulled up to the neck - so they fit loosely and have no changes that could stretch. I've been doing this with velvet hangers for the last few years. They are not as smooth as plastic and wood so you need to take them off your shirt instead of taking off your shirt and vice versa it's ok it takes a second or two to pay attention to how to hang clothes and how Do it. That. Once you get it, you will love them. I will say years ago when I first got them - I found them disappointing then I got used to them and love how they hang and don't ruin my clothes. I bought 2 boxes and will now buy a 3rd.
