I was starting to spend more time on the computer and I really needed a stand so as not to hurt my neck, shoulders and body while sitting on it. I chose this stand because it securely holds my 17" laptop. Really love this stand. It assembles right out of the box, is a good weight and stays in place. The stand has holes for air - and heat circulation and some rubber/silicone on the two front handles to add a bit more grip It's very difficult to get the stand into the position you want but it's great because it stays in place, try to pull evenly, not just on one side. My only thought for improvement would be to make the bottom panel a little heavier. I don't know if this is recommended or not, but I type on my laptop the same as without it and it hasn't been a problem yet .Study, durable, high quality and easy to use.I highly recommend this product.
