My 4th grade daughter has trouble wearing socks because her toe seams bother her. It is very good. The seam is less annoying than with other socks. There are still small ends of the rope at either end of the seams, but that doesn't bother my daughter that much. I cut the strings shorter. BONUS is my daughter no longer has smelly feet! The previous socks she may have worn (due to seam irritation) were polyester so her feet were smelly. We had to put her shoes outside and she came to wash her feet every day. Now her legs and shoes can be removed at home!
