I can't help but say how happy I am with this slider! The build quality is incredibly solid, from the carbon fiber darts to the thumbscrews to the adjustable feet and the smoothness of the gear mechanism. A very easy to use device, operated manually with a flywheel or with an app controlled motor makes it easy to get great results. You will need to add your own camera mount mounting solution, but the standard 1/4" screw mount will fit any ball head, fluid head, or other standard photo mounting system. Once set up, the app (provided by Ashanks) is fairly intuitive, allowing you to control start and stop points, travel speed, and how quickly the motor starts or stops. The motor is powerful enough to raise the camera to a reasonable tilt angle. Whether you adjust the tilt feet, lean the slider against something, or use the mounting plate on the bottom to mount it on a tripod, you'll be able to achieve amazing movement for video recording or hyperlapse photography. The included soft zippered case is ideal for transport or storage, providing ample space and individual slots for all components. Worth buying to add a very powerful weapon to your photo arsenal!
