We used it for daughter's pageant. It's a little long so you'll either have to tape it underneath or pin it. I think it's better, although the extra material is better than when my daughter was grown. We just pinned it inside at the bottom, you don't see it because the fabric is heavy and you can't see through it. We were very happy with our purchase.
