I live in the country and the collar works great keeping my pup at home instead of running a half mile to the neighbors every day! It only took him two walks to get used to having to go back inside when the alarm went off. The only thing I would suggest to improve this product is that it disables the collar when charging and you have to recalibrate the satellites after each charge. This only takes a few minutes, but is still uncomfortable. At least it saves the settings I originally made (which was very easy by the way). I would give the product 5 stars if I could just charge it up and put it back on my dog before she goes out in the morning without having to walk down the driveway first thing in the morning in freezing weather with two people for three minutes. If I could charge it up and put it back on before it goes that would be perfect! It turns itself off when it comes in and does a quick recalibration when it comes back during the day if it hasn't been charged, so this part is great! It's better than going to the neighbors once or twice a day to pick up my dog which is why I gave it 4 stars. I'm guessing it will stay charged for two days since I take it off at night when we go to bed and it goes into low usage mode, but I haven't tried my luck yet. I charge it every night while we sleep. In the evening when we're ready to go to bed there are still two out of three battery life bars left, so I'd say the battery stays well charged and lasts two days before needing a recharge when I use it give a try. I'm just thankful that I found a way to keep my cute boy at home during the day so he can go out and be a dog instead of being tied up all the time when he goes outside to burn off some energy! Good product!
