I know this should only be used on stainless steel sinks but I had serious scratches on my stainless steel dishwasher and fridge door which looked horrible. They were so bad I was considering replacing both, even though they were fairly new. I tried it and am very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I read all the reviews and instructions fairly carefully and decided to skip step 1 which everyone said changed the finish of where you are working. If you use step 1 then I've read that several people say you have to sand the entire surface to ensure the finish will match. I started with step 2 and buffed off the damn scratches I was trying to fix. The ones in my fridge were a bit deeper and I knew they wouldn't go away completely, but the ones in my dishwasher were caused by improper cleaning of the Brillo pad (thanks hubby). Not deep, but badly scratches the finish. After extensively polishing both devices, I washed the solution off with water and clean, soft cloths. Then step 3 is polishing. I polished both surfaces with the entire tube of solution. After washing with a towel and water and then a stainless steel cleaner, my devices look great. The dishwasher has no scratch marks and the scratches on my fridge are only visible in the perfect light and from the perfect angle. If you didn't know they were there, you would never see them. For $20 this product worked beautifully!
