While it's for honing brake cylinders, I've used it to finish the head tube of a steel bike frame. This is for installing the headset and connector. Too much for what I needed, which was paint residue removal (and most likely some metal bits) but it's better than paying the ridiculous amount Park Tool charges for their admittedly good but excessive bike tool kit. The tool feels solid for what it is. It doesn't have instructions if I remember correctly, but the concept is pretty easy to grasp for those with some mechanical skill, especially if you're messing around with your brake master cylinders. There is a threaded part that adjusts the width of the bones and it is suitable for a drill. Popped it into my cordless drill (Bosch, which I think rules) and quickly got through the debris of the head tube. I'm talking about a few minutes total at most, and I'm quickly checking the up and down rotation of the head tube every 10-15 seconds. Doesn't feel polished but is smooth enough (I don't want to make the pipe thinner). Tip: Be careful when entering and exiting the head tube, be careful not to chip the paint. Given that the top and bottom of the steering column will likely be covered by the headset, minor chips are unlikely to be a problem, but I like a scratch-free frame. At least until the shine comes off the new toy. Also, with a new steel frame, be sure to put a frame protector on the inside after grinding. I used lanolin-based fluid film, which gives your frame a not-so-pleasant wool smell (it dissolves very slowly). Better than rust. Highly recommended for my limited use. I'm sure it will work great for master cylinders considering it's a Lisle brand. I have a few dedicated Lisle Auto tools and I'm not complaining.
