I travel from place to place a lot and needed a bag that would allow me to easily move from work to activities with kids without changing bags often or having to take a lot of bags with me for different events. That's cool. The small fabric pocket fits all my usual essentials (lip balm, charging cable, work ID, etc.), while the larger pocket can hold a water bottle, documents, or spare shoes without overloading the bag. The handles are long enough to be worn over the shoulder even in a winter coat, which makes everyday use much easier.
