Review on 🐟 Ultimate Defense: Tuna Protection Waterproof Breathable Collegiate by Joseph Hamilton

I would recommend other brand shirts against this tuna brand; Cotton required for comfort

I bought this Tuna men's UV UPF 50+ shirt because I wanted to go to the market and buy something green to complement my summer wardrobe with comfortable shirts for the hot Arizona sun. What caught my attention were the generally good reviews, as well as the color of the shirt itself and the fact that it "looks" like what I usually wear in the summer: Izod Saltwater or the Columbia line of wicking shirts. However, after trying it on, I can say that it is not comfortable for me. It might be comfortable for some, but I don't like the fact that it feels like I'm wearing plastic, a piece of parachute material, or outdoor chair material against my skin because it's 100% nylon. It feels "scratchy" and stiff. In contrast, the shirt brands I mentioned above contain a cotton blend that makes the shirt feel very comfortable on your shoulders and against your skin. This Tuna shirt, on the other hand, feels like it's constantly rubbing against my skin, and while it's not a quiet nuisance, it's far from comfortable and still a bit annoying. Finally I wanted to attach some photos comparing the stitching of this Tuna shirt to the stitching in similar places on my Izod and Columbia shirts which look almost the same but the stitching is difficult to iron out. I explain that when I look at this shirt side by side, it is clear that the stitching of this Tuna shirt is inferior. In areas around and under the shoulders, for example, the thread seems to me to be thicker on the Izod and Columbia shirts, and there seem to be areas around the shirt where the seams are DOUBLE rows of parallel stitches, while this is the case on the Tuna shirt case is a simple single stitch. I can't attest to the difference in durability between the shirts; Perhaps these tuna shirts will last just as long and the stitching will not stretch and you will need to replace them due to "normal wear" and fading. However, in my untrained eye and based on the feel and comfort of the shirt when worn, I will choose to stick with the other two brands instead. PS Meets expectations.
