I was very happy to find this 50's style metal fan. I work great with the style of my home. More importantly, it heats the room! In the winter my house maintains a temperature of 68F. Without a heater my new breakfast nook would drop to 64F and my oven would frequently turn on. Now I come to a warm place for breakfast, the floor is toasted, and I don't hear the oven working. If you want to keep the heater on low, this heater works great. It is very quiet and delivers very stable heat. The room never feels stuffy or dry. If you want the room to heat up now, warm up, then it's too stuffy, so you need to turn it off. Get another Vornado.
