It took me a while to connect the monitor to my HP All-in-One which doesn't have a DP port. I went to Office Max but they didn't have one for me to use as for some reason they had almost no desktops for sale, only a few very expensive ones in stock. Then I remembered that I have a small Asus laptop that I rarely use and I was happy to find a DP port on it. I plugged it in and the monitor worked immediately for both picture and sound. The image from my laptop doesn't cover the entire screen of the monitor, but that's not a problem for me, it covers about 75%. The video image on the monitor is excellent, and the sound is very good. I'm glad the monitor works. Came pretty short with the monitor but my son in law helped me mount the monitor on the stand. He leans forward to give me a good angle. So this monitor is very good, but check the connected computer for a DP connection.
